This one was 1st at Quast98 held in Poland.
The demo starts weirdly enough without a sound in sight! I actually
pressed Esc a couple of times and retried my sound config and some
other stuff... No harm! Its supposed to be like that... Just a logo
of Omnicolor slowly fading in. After that we start the fun.
The music kicks in heavily synced too much if you ask me but...
the 3D-engine is rolling, some weird pics also shown! You start
seeing some design when the 3D with all that syncing is accompanied
by some pics of the same nature! i.e. On one scene the music calms
down and you can see some 3D-wireframes of sea-gulls or so they
should be because you hear some sea sounds Along with that you see
some good pixeling of the same 3D red-wireframe sea-gulls. The same
repeats a couple scenes later, this time with some seaweeds or smtg
similar!
As i said before the demo is highly synced to the music! You can
hardly check the frame-rate of the 3D engine or the quality of the
pics with so much flicking and dubbing! This word dubbing i just made
up! Its a musical expression which is highly connected to oldskool,
phat-beats, looping style... Anyways... It doesnt have absolutly
nothing to do with the effect they use for syncing but i like the
word so... btw: The effect is a bit like picking up a piece of paper
and rotate it over a middle x-axis, back and forth! You better take
a look at the demo to check that effect which is hard for me to
explain and i think most of you wont understand because i put that
dub thing in the middle which tottaly has nothign to do and no one
will understand the joke! :D Well... What can i say... Though luck!
I dont feel like re-writting the review!

2nd at The Party 98
Oh goodie goodie!!! Halcyon is back!!! What is this? UH!!! bstates
music... COOOOOOOOOOL! Bleep bleeps synced to teh code... Just a
rather simple 3D world with some anti-aliased lines. And now we come
to a flat 3D object... Humm... Hei... blobs!!! Blobs are cool. I like
blobs! They get together and the color gets bigger and all : WOW...
The blobs are traveling, passing through a tunnel... Another tunnel.
The music is good! And whats this? Some 3D-globe with anti-aliased
lines around... It looks a little weird! Whats that... Its opening
up! And the camera gets in... And now its closing... Look! The
anti-aliased lines are around the camera. Its twirling a bit, wow.
WOW!!! We are back to the beggining. Same flat 3D-object. And the
blobs... Music is twitching. The intro is twitching along with it!

Khamos by Illusion/Doomsday
tp8 mch entry.
The tune entitled Khamos was composed by Illusion of Doomsday and
participated in the mch compo at tp8 and got the 13th place.
Khamos is a quiet pop/balade tune with strange sounds within.
It has both nice guitar-chords and nice flutes that makes a nice
melody. But something makes this tune more than a normal
guitar-flute-pop-whatever tune, those voice alike sounds adds
spirit and character to the tune.
When listening to it you will most certainly think of the forest -
spirits in that lives there...

This one was 1st at Quast98 held in Poland.
The demo starts weirdly enough without a sound in sight! I actually
pressed Esc a couple of times and retried my sound config and some
other stuff... No harm! Its supposed to be like that... Just a logo
of Omnicolor slowly fading in. After that we start the fun.
The music kicks in heavily synced too much if you ask me but...
the 3D-engine is rolling, some weird pics also shown! You start
seeing some design when the 3D with all that syncing is accompanied
by some pics of the same nature! i.e. On one scene the music calms
down and you can see some 3D-wireframes of sea-gulls or so they
should be because you hear some sea sounds Along with that you see
some good pixeling of the same 3D red-wireframe sea-gulls. The same
repeats a couple scenes later, this time with some seaweeds or smtg
similar!
As i said before the demo is highly synced to the music! You can
hardly check the frame-rate of the 3D engine or the quality of the
pics with so much flicking and dubbing! This word dubbing i just made
up! Its a musical expression which is highly connected to oldskool,
phat-beats, looping style... Anyways... It doesnt have absolutly
nothing to do with the effect they use for syncing but i like the
word so... btw: The effect is a bit like picking up a piece of paper
and rotate it over a middle x-axis, back and forth! You better take
a look at the demo to check that effect which is hard for me to
explain and i think most of you wont understand because i put that
dub thing in the middle which tottaly has nothign to do and no one
will understand the joke! :D Well... What can i say... Though luck!
I dont feel like re-writting the review!

Oh goodie goodie!!! Halcyon is back!!! What is this? UH!!! bstates
music... COOOOOOOOOOL! Bleep bleeps synced to teh code... Just a
rather simple 3D world with some anti-aliased lines. And now we come
to a flat 3D object... Humm... Hei... blobs!!! Blobs are cool. I like
blobs! They get together and the color gets bigger and all : WOW...
The blobs are traveling, passing through a tunnel... Another tunnel.
The music is good! And whats this? Some 3D-globe with anti-aliased
lines around... It looks a little weird! Whats that... Its opening
up! And the camera gets in... And now its closing... Look! The
anti-aliased lines are around the camera. Its twirling a bit, wow.
WOW!!! We are back to the beggining. Same flat 3D-object. And the
blobs... Music is twitching. The intro is twitching along with it!

Khamos by Illusion/Doomsday
tp8 mch entry.
The tune entitled Khamos was composed by Illusion of Doomsday and
participated in the mch compo at tp8 and got the 13th place.
Khamos is a quiet pop/balade tune with strange sounds within.
It has both nice guitar-chords and nice flutes that makes a nice
melody. But something makes this tune more than a normal
guitar-flute-pop-whatever tune, those voice alike sounds adds
spirit and character to the tune.
When listening to it you will most certainly think of the forest -
spirits in that lives there...
