THE UNiON COMPENDIUM 02-94
Back again is the underdog of todays art community and appreciators.
That of the independant art group, UNiON. Yet another art compilation has
been compiled over the hustle and bustle of the last months attempts at
gathering all the members from the merger.
Due to previous lack of good communication between the majority of the
iMAGE group, it has been quite a task to try to nail down all the members
locations and/or position in the group. Weve come a fair ways in ironing
out the groups problems, and thus have lost some members in the process,
while at the same time, gaining a few more and re-adjusting the structure of
the group to accomodate these new/lost members.
Over the last month, we lost Cybernary. One of our Senior Staff here at
UNiON. Cybernary has obviously found a better place with ETERNiTY and has
left UNiON for them. It came as a shock that Cybernary left the group as
there was no mention from him regarding his interest in leaving nor his
final decision. It was through other members that we finally determined
his group jump.
With this loss of a Senior member in the group, Nailz and myself elected
to promote Dark Image to a Senior position as he was helping quite a bit
with gathering the previous iMAGE side of members, as well as contributing
to Primal Net. Dark Images board is also the U.S. Headquarters for UNiON
now due to Bodily Harms problems and demise.
Another member gained over the last month was Lockup. He was previously
with Paradox Productions, a popular demo group. We welcomed him to UNiON
with the position of Coding Co-ordinator due to Winter Mutes busy schedule.
Genesis joined us as well from Paradox Productions. He is a very talented
VGA artist, and you should see more of his work in Lockups loaders. As
well, Camanshie joined from Paradox and will have his music compositions
added as a part of Lockups loaders as well.
On a dark note for UNiON, a local lamer to the WHQ decided it would be
cool to hack an account on the board and thus delete half of the hard drive
causing the board to go down for some 2 weeks. There is no direct proof as
to the identity of the culprit but suspicions have been raised to its being
Night Shade, infamously known for his affilations with Pentagram, UNiTY, iCE,
and CRiMSON. As I mentioned, there is no direct proof to this accusation,
but I would not put it past a lamer of this calibre.
To clarify some of the misconceptions concerning No Carrier, a Trial
member with us here at UNiON, he is an artist from 613, not the infamous
609 No Carrier who has been reported as an art ripper and therefor can
not be given credit for his work. Our No Carrier produces only original
art work, nothing is ever ripped. Any artist that rips their work as I
have seen/heard tales of them doing, does not deserve to be affilated with
UNiON or any art group for that matter. Any group who contains such a
member is only doing themselves the disfavor and is tarnishing their over-
all reputation.
If you find this pack to your liking and would like to be considered for
application for a position as an artist, distrobution site, headquarter board,
or a courier for UNiON, please make yourself known to a senior member as well
as the individual division co-ordinator for the section your are applying for.
As well, if you find that your name is missing from the member list or
you think your name shouldnt be in the list, contact me ASAP on Flatlined
Reality.
