ple, TiTAN is full of
dickheads. No, but seriously, I have a friend w
ho runs a
board called The Red Light District and he sort of gave me
the idea. Penis is his favorite word or something.
Now, to get some things out of the way regarding dist sites.
When our first pack came out I unexpectedly received several
dist site requests. Unfortunately, I do not, at the present
time, have the resources to honor too many dist sites, so
from here on I will only hand out dist sites through invite
only. Once the group begins to grow and I acquire the means
to handle more dist sites then I will extend an open
invitation for all who wish to join.
With that out of the way, in no particular order, here are
some happenings for TiTAN last month.
We were approached, at the beginning of May, by the head dude
of ALiVE for a merger, but due to conflicts of interests it
did not coalesce. Each side wanted to retain its identity,
which, needless to say, left no room for compromise.
However, of late, False God asked me if I would agree to
giving him control of a LiT division in TiTAN. What the
hell, and so you have it. With that, welcome False God into
the group. Hes currently the sysop of Terminal State
operating out of the 4O5 AC, so give his board a try and
check out his net GTCM.
No new ANSi or VGA artists joined the group last month, which
tells me one thing: none of you were fucking good enough.
Nuff said.
Okay, lets move on to TiTView. As you might have noticed
that is, if youve tried it it is a vast improvement over
the first version. Praises go to Ricker for a job well
done. It is now capable of scrollback, scroll locking,
and smooth scrolling. Also, it is now capable of viewing
ansis in 640x480 or 320x200 vga mode. Of course, it will
improve even more with time.
One subject I think I should address is the type of artists
that TiTAN is looking for. We will accept ANSi, VGA, and
LiT artists only. ASCii artists and musicians will not be
handled by TiTAN.
An app generator simple but effective has been included in
this pack just like I said it would. I was beginning to have
some doubts after awhile, but here it is. It was put together
by TiTANs newest coder Voltaic. So, Id like to welcome him
into the scene. Send all applications to Psychotic Aftermath.
Do not send them to dist sites or member boards. I review
all applications and art submissions. If I think there is
any hope for you then I will have the other members of TiTAN
review your work and a final decision will be rendered.
If you are not accepted into the group do not commit suicide.
Stay calm, take a deep breath, practice, and try again later.
