Summer is just around the corner and with it Dark rises to a
new era.
The days become longer, and the nights, shorter. School is out
for most
of us and we seem to have more time on our hands meaning, produ
ction
levels rise for all groups. Yes, summer is the peak season for
the scene,
and Dark intends to take every advantage of it. Last summer, Da
rk made its
debut in the scene, sending ripples through it like a boulder dr
opped into
a pond. I specifically remember a certain RN saying something
to the
extent of: Dark wont last a year. Well, its been more than
that now.
We celebrated our one year anniversary in February, and weve be
en moving
forward ever since.
So dont be surprised if it happens to get a little more Dark th
is summer.
- Filenames
The Dark files are still named as follows:
XXXXX-.DRK
XXXXX represents five characters for artist name. is a hex
adecimal
number representing the number of releases that artist has made
to date.
This file naming system is working out just fine for us and hope
fully
other groups may find this new method useful with getting rid of
the
multiple alias conflicts.
