[4CHere we are again wrapping up another fantastically productive
[4Cseason for rCA. The past two months have been invigorating,
[4Cwe have swung from an severe low to a lofty high in the short
[4Cspan of one month. Last month, we chose not to release for one
[4Creason: quality. We had well over a meg of art, but we refused
[4Cto release because we knew the group could do better. This pack,
[4Cthe product of many hours of labor by many people, is that "better"
[4Cthat we strived for. After evaluating our priorities, we have
[4Cdecided to make quality job #1 at rCA, and we know you'll see
[4Cthe differance. We invite you to take a look at what the new
[4CrCA has to offer to the scene, if you feel the same way we do
[4Cabout the importance of quality art, then I have a feeling
[4Cyou'll like the direction were going in. ENJOY!

[4CStarting this past month, rCA will not be accepting the usual app
[4Cfor new artists. We have decided to require a standard portfolio
[4Cfrom our new members, which includes an original logo, 3 picks of
[4Cdifferent styles, and an app including youre history in art. Why
[4Call the red tape just to get into a simple art group? Mainly for
[4Cone reason: so we can get serious artists. The problem every group
[4Cis having is getting artists to actually perform; too many times 
[4Chas a dynamic artist joind and then "disappeared" the next week.
[4CWith the portfolio, we can be assured that our new members
[4Chave not only a great deal of talent, but also dedication. We
[4Chope that this will not be a barrier to anyone wishing to join, we
[4Conly wish to insure a greater consistency of quality art for the
[4Cpeople who take the time to download our packs.

[4CAs usual, we have a host of new members that we would like to 
[4Cintroduce. In no particular order, Dracula, Fiber Tech, Twist-
[4Cgrip, FrostBite, and Phantom Lord 2 come to join our ballooning
[4CANSI department. All of there talents will be appreciated. Good
[4CANSI artists are a wonderful commodity and we have great
[4Cexpectations for these guys. Joining our ASCII department is
[4CPsychoholic. Perhaps he can breath a little life into this section,
[4Cwhich has lately been suffering. Joining the VGA section this month
[4Care Xenos, Cyber Assassin, and Krapp. From 3-d to photoshop work, 
[4Cthese guys are GREAT at what they do, and we look forward to 
[4Csome great work from them.
[4C[1;30mOf course, there are always some slackers that never want to do [0m
[4C[1;30manything - we have done some MAJOR spring cleaning and you can[0m
[4C[1;30mtell from the memberlist that some major cuts have been made.[0m
