well, one year has passed since the first release of Purg Productions!
damn thats a long time, and alot of shit has happened since last january!  Purg
has gotten on irc, gone through many members, and kept many members.  We have
seen many groups come and go.  Samsara, one of the BEST ansi groups to ever be 
born, rest in peace.  Taura, a modding group that just never quite got it 
together.  Many others including salt, insomnia, blind, so many..  Amongst 
them I think that samsara was the most memorable!  

In October of 1995, me and bossman were working on our boards, and 
realized that modding wasn't such a difficult task!  We got everything together
to start up a group..  Then we thought, "what in the fuck are we going to name
this thing?"  Phukt up ReneGade!  and such, PuRG was born.  Come January 1996,
we had enough art and mods to release our first pak.  Fuck me, did that suck!@@#After the release of our first [shitty] pak, we started to lose most of the 
local members, doing so we gained members from irc...  
dropping members such as :

February turned out pretty decent.  Considering the amount of people we now had.Not a killer month, but much better.  I was learning a little about coding, 
along with switching over to ascii with bossman...  Some better work that month.When march rolled around, we were too fuckin lazy to release..  It was just
getting to the point where we were getting too busy and no one was getting any
work done..  We took work from our members and when april hit, we threw it in
there!  Members suchs as ZigZag, Cold Fusion, Guido, Jester, Creator, and Demon
Bane left, and turned us onto Jaguar, Deranged Fan, Static, and his band of
musicians!  Although there were no tunes that month, we had a music division!@  The release was quite nice for the group that we had, but not up to where I 
wanted it!  I was coding alot more, did an info loader, and was fully into asciiand wasn't turning back!  Deranged Fan threw in a little lit on racism, and
Jaguar had some very nice work.  Come may, dead again!  Nothing to release, so
we held off until June.  June was a great month for purg.  With the merge of
Tang, many great members floated our way.  Along with some Insomnia members.
The merger of Tang brought :

extremely happy with everyone in june, and gave head to all that deserved.

Ok, now its my turn.  Well, its been a long year and we have had alot of succes
with this group.  I can't say anything to special about it cause i havn't been 
in it since they started.  But i would also like to say that i very dissapointedwith the enteries we got from everyone.  Yes as you can see what i am saying is
that we didnt get enough.  This pack was supposed to be big and i mean its not 
bad or anything but its just that more members should have donated work.  Ok
now back to my other thoughts, we need more 'bbs modders' for this group. I 
can't do it all by myself.  I admit i can mod many bbs softwares but i just donthave the time to do it all.  We need more.  So if you can mod any bbs software
please apply, cause we need you.  Curently i can mod wwiv/obv2/rg/iniq and some other misc softwares.  I know your thinking to yourself 'why would someone spendthier time modding wwiv?', well i have decied to mod wwiv because its just to 
damn ugly looking and the mods that are out there today just suck dick.  So likeuse my mods.  And if you would like to apply email either The Reaper or me.
