smi(awe) tna(awe) A W E L e t t e r i n g Introduction This Month as probably been the worst month for AWE yet I couldn t get a hold on many members because of xmas and the new year I guess so the pack is not as big as it should be But don t worry the quality s as high as usual ) As for me it was my worst month in the scene A bit before xmas I be- came bored of all the scene and haven t been much on irc Then came xmas and the new year Then my grandmother died of a long fight against a pancreas can- cer and I had to go to her funeral and everything that goes with it But this hasn t been the worst my girlfriend spent all the xmas holidays at my house I don t think I need to say that I haven t had much time to draw during these two weeks ) Anyway let s get to the important things New Members This month we added five new members to the AWE Family as well as ta- king one off With these five new members we have now 17 ansi artists and 7 ascii artists including me Here are the new members Discyple After making some sort of conspiracy with mHz we fi- nally got one of the best Ascii Artists in the scene right now With him and Nahal (who both have a simi- lar style I d say) AWE Ascii s gonna kick some major ass Mass Murderer No he hasn t left iCE He joined us as an Ascii Artist that means he left Fire ) Sorry I have nothing more to say about him The best thing I can say is to check out his stuff Pretty cool stuff ) Nahal Well like I said before he s got an amazing style I don t think I have anything else to say ) Noodles I first saw his stuff in the 9611 iCE Pack and I just loved it so I started bothering him and he finally joined He s from Australia I guess that s why he draws a bit like Sq2 ) Outkast After chatting a bit with him he decided to apply to AWE even though he s not a fontist I think y all already know who he is since a lot of ppl don t like him even if he s one of the coolest guy I know in the scene Departure Since the beginning of AWE Lettering we only lost two members One of these two is Sir Death who s leaving us this month for Eclipse since he has been in this group forever We wish him luck with em and hope he s gonna remember AWE has a wonderful experience Something that he is not gonna regret Information I don t have much to say about what happened this month since I have no idea what happened I never thought it could be that hard to run a group We had communication problems I lost contact with some members Anyway all I can say is that it has been a fun month even though we had a lot of problems Beside this a sad thing happened this month Outkast s girlfriend has been shot by some moron or something I don t know the whole story All I know is that he has no idea why she has been shot What can I say Outkast is to- tally fucked up like he said He told me he might quit the scene he s not sure yet So this month might be Outkast s last release I just hope he s going to stick around so we can chat again with him I ll have further explanations next month I guess With Discyple Mass Murderer and Nahal in AWE Ascii I think we have one of the best ascii division in the scene So as for now I don t think we re gonna accept any other ascii artists except those who really kick ass As you already know We had problems with the communication this month So I d like to have some news from Circus Freak Noodles Splatt & Squarepusher if possible because I haven t been able to get a hold on y all Oh I almost forgot Don t email me saying that Outkast ripped a font from Fluor I know Fluor challenged Outkast Anyway that s a long story ) Welp I guess that s pretty much what I had to say Oh I also have a new email address So email me at tnangel@generation net if you have any ques- tion concerning AWE or to request some logos of me (please don t bother asking freebies and or trades) Greets This month I would like to greet the following people for different reasons Without these people I would ve had much more difficulties with the group and the pack Deeply Disturbed For being the all-time AWE Fruity Fan and for not drawing my 23 liner ) Discyple Nahal For their work on the improvement of AWE Ascii Hydro-Qu bec For taking off the electricity in Fluor s house Hos For bothering me sooo much about his menu Mass Murderer For being such a cool guy and a devoted iCE Member Widowmaker For telling me to wait another day before releasing The Night Angel AWE SS tnangel@generation net
