L il Lucifer (at age 3) Lucifer sat in the inflatable whale kiddie pool He knew he was different from the other children who frolicked around him For one thing he couldn t get himself into the same hyperactive state as the other three-year-olds He couldn t bring himself to sing and dance and splash He was also red had two sharp little horns and a VERY sharply pointed tail In fact his extremely pointy appendages and protrusions force me to reword the first sentence Lucifer sat in the PREVIOUSLY inflated whale kiddie pool The other children however were of normal human intelligence Which means basically that they were all stupid Little Lucifer was the only one who felt demeaned by being forced to wear a cloth diaper Didn t the adults know what happens to cloth when it gets wet Or gets set on fire The other children had normal body temperatures and didn t mind sitting in puddles (of their own making or otherwise ) So Lucifer couldn t rally them into forces capable of a revolution Most of them couldn t talk Of course they could repeat choice phrases that potty-mouthed Lucifer used Which usually led to trouble Especially on that fateful day at preschool when frustrated at his inability to reach the objects on the highest shelf he summoned a Glabrezu type III to fetch the toy pitchfork for him He quickly sent it back to the 5th plane of Hell but a few impressionable youngsters heard his mystic incantations The next few days were quite literally Hell as quasits and succubi were conjured into existance to provide piggy-back rides and teachers and supervisors got banished to Gehenna and the Abyss L il Lucifer fearing a power struggle arranged with Unca Demogorgon for the baby magicians to come to untimely accidents He then erased everyone s memories and things got more or less back to normal
