insert nifty logo here -- intro hello i am noot this is the very first release of iesus i think i ll explain the group policies before getting down to story time -- policy iesus is very logical and simple we are a group that focuses on the ascii scene but in the very same way that some groups explore other mediums we do permit ansis within our packs every artist must be a qualified ascii artist but beyond that they can release whatever they wish to release with the group it allows for some creative freedom and puts a bit of spice into our packs the pack release date is not set i will attempt to get it out as soon as possible every month but who knows if i get a lot of art in a short period of time you might find iesus popping up every two weeks and then not for two months i think it s better to have un-set dates so that the art qua(l nt)ity can be up to par with a normal pack but for the most part the 1st - 3rd is what we aim for all artists within iesus are permitted full freedom when it comes to art iesus is an artist s group very simple no quality control no mixed up members no pissing people off whatever you want to release it s cool in addition dual- grouping is fine again artist freedom i don t care how many groups an artist in as long as (s)he produces 1 piece every now and then i think this stereotypical affil-snatcher that all the group prez s talk about dosen t exist but i could be wrong ) don t join if you just want the affil besides ascii gets little or no respect anyways you gotta be fucked up bigtime if you join any ascii group -just- for the name ) we encourage ascii pics over ascii fonts but we realize that pics are really difficult for some artists there are some greats out there that can do em with ease it seems including fluid and k0rpse two of my faves so it s okay if an artist has no real talent for pics but the fonts have to be top notch or something uh hand your work in each month via the irc to Nootropic or via bbs @ 905-569-9492 this is the iesus whq and you can access it with the password alive there are appropriate file bases for you iesus members upon validation otherwise send your stuff to the sysop base pretty simple okay with policy rules out of the way i d like to get on to the story -- history i was on the godly (sarc) irc machine one day in early november right around when i left saga (i think) anyways unsane there messaged me asking if i wanted to start up an ascii group uns had always been a fierce advocate of a saga ascii division but it somehow never came to be so we started our own name debates ensued with such possibilities as scarce and salmonella anyways a few days later unsane left the group and went somewhere uh not sure then he came back a few days later and left again then he came back again and yeah he left again well he s now in odium (er no wait i can t keep up) but things are cool unsy always has a place with us iesus guys ) (uns even if you just wanna join for a day and leave or something ) so i discussed the group locally on my board a few people showed some interest namely people that were left stranded after the breakup of toon (remember them the latest re-incarnation is plain ) well holocaust joined up with his amazing typography skills along with redman and uh some other people i think the idea is that i nabbed a bunch of members so that was the 10th it s now about the 1st of the month and i have been able to capture about 15 members or something in that range but not alone i d like to thank misfit for his excellent work in assimilation anyways here the bitch is have a look-see tell me what you think more information will follow -- joining do remember that this is a first pack the primary objective was to get it out into the open and let people know that YES we DO exist so next month is sure to be a major improvement if you ARE interested in joining send a portfolio up to jive soda at (905) 569-9492 it s a 2 minute thing use the password alive to get instant access ) or nab me on the irc
