where d they come from ! s +-------------------- ------------------------------------------ ----------- sirdeath 1 apathy! welcome to the first apathy pack i guess i should lay down a little group history first off apathy isn t a new group the idea originally came to me around january of this year y see it was around this time that a group i was in rancid merged with another group i was in eden a couple of post merge packs were released but since the merge no one had any real enthusiasm for the group people started quitting (guys like b0rys village idiot a few others) guys that really were the artistic heart of the group so i called up ed (b0rys) and we started discussing forming a new group we called it apathy we picked up a few members (i think it was me b0 omot morbid fixation a couple others) we played with the idea for awhile and it was cool then a guy named euphoria approached ed and i about merging into his group emerge unfortunately we did morbid fixation dropped the group omot left the scene we released once with emerge and b0 and i quit it sucked so apathy was dead (sorta the idea was still sweltering in that hard orb atop my shoulders) but i joined other groups and apathy was forgotten well the other day i called b0 up and we started talking about it again so yup apathy is back 1 b0rys! just a little side note b0rys changed his handle to nivek ogre a couple days before the pack came out and didn t feel like changing all his work from b0rys to nivek ogre so if anyone s confused that is probably why 2 the name! why the name apathy i guess i could give you some big ex- planation as to why we have a name that means lack of interest i could say that the group as a whole doesn t give a flying fuck about the scene or it s politics or anything we just want to produce art (yeah where haven t you heard *that* 50 times before) i could say we just want to have fun all that stuff is true but actually we picked apathy just because it sounds cool 3 the members! okay the new apathy roster has changed quite a bit from the original version and these are the guys misfit! yeah that s me i used to go by saint sinner i m in union mOp and trank (for ascii) i smoke pot i do acid and i occasionally sit down at my puter and pretend i can draw w00p! nivek ogre! the artist formerly known as b0rys (tafkab ) he s pretty cool i first started talking to him when we both were in eden and we ve been pretty good friends ever since he was in a local 609 group called fume but that was going nowhere so when i aproached him about restarting apathy he said sure why not and here he is yip! apocalypse! i approached him on irc about joining and with disco kind of dying he said he d do some shit for me he s mostly a font artist (and a damn good one) and now he s branching off into ascii and full ansi pics yahoo! blenderhead! i called todd up one night and asked him if he wanted to do some shtuff for apathy he said yes so here he is he s also in union and he ll be doing some rip and ansi for us as well as doing some ascii wewp! captin! another rip ansi guy he actually came to me and asked to join (whoa ) he s in two other groups stab and mOp but he gave me like six logos for this pack so i can t complain ) sh00p! ewheat! this guy s cool he does ansi and ascii he was (is ) in disco for telecom and he s here to do some dope art for us lewop! iridescent! it s tim! ) he kicks ass at fonts does some pics and he decided he wanted to do some shiznit for us he s also senior staff of the new group warner studios which should kick ass (shameless plug) heh he used to be in vapor but i guess that group s dead now or something ahwell nee! sir death! anudda ex-vapor homey he was in a short-lived group called aptitude but it s dead so he s doin some killer ascii and ansi for us (see that apathy logo up top he did that ) i hafta admit when i first saw his ansi in a vapor pack i didn t like it much but he s gotten hella better so here he is dink! village idiot! damn vill s been in the scene for like ever ) nah it s actually been about two years but he s been in a ton of groups (the names tribe cia and eden pop to mind) he kicks mucho ass at ansi and he s one of the coolest guys in the scene he released shit loads of work in last month s cia pack so he didn t have anything ready for this pack but just wait for next month yay! cidica! our loveable mascot! he s so cute we ll be selling cidica merchandise (such as backpacks stuffed cids and cidica (tm) brand ribbed-on-the-inside-for-his-pleasure disposable condoms) some time in the near future ) shwing!
