It s quite true I have witnessed a number of our members converting to the Eden Blade shareuser syndrome I regret to say in truth this is all my fault I make a formal apology to all Editorial For Eden members but The Temperate Hijacker and Dalamar in particular This growing plague in our system seems to have put the strange notion that Eden desires less work from thei artists than Blade does Which I take no responsibility for I had never acted in this way nor did I plan to Of course I suppose it was invietable Being that Blade has been here longer and the unfortunate truth is more respected people seem to think that they are more important But this is still the original and less quality Far from it Our ANSi artist Dalamar has taken on some of the best competition produced and won Do you see him jumping over to Union or ACiD Far from it At the time I had liked the look of Blade and was curious to discover how it was compared to Eden And shamefully I needed an affil (I _swear_ that wasn t the main reaso mC! = ) for a BBS I was ah attempting to create Unfortunatly I didn t exactly get a whole hearted backing from Blade much to my dismay although I had worked quite hard at it Eden on the other hand gave me a net a nice logo and some more users Since the beginning of Eden Blade has been our real competition They are around our level a respected but not quite revered group and have all the catagories Eden does But Blade has been around longer and with CounterPoint and the newly added Chromatik they are posing much more than a definite threat For some reason they seem to catch those ansi artists just before we can My worst fear had already come true I found out this week One of our members not exactly the greatest in his field but a definite addition went on to Blade into a different job which he was much more proficient at In other words he obviously didn t think Eden deserve the work he could give Blade This is disgusting So he went on and began to more and more continuously ignore Eden calling that nice pretty flashy WHQ Blade has Blade seems to have hypnotized our members into their groups and I m afraid it s time we woke up If their aren t definite improvements Eden could be in big trouble This is a matter of loyalty not of status Those who half-heartedly throw a few works in the Eden pack deserve no respect from those of us who actually work to make something This is the kind of person who would kill his own group to get into another Which shows lack of respect loyalty and any shred of decency The real world has hit our little BBSville magnified The societies that live here are pushing for lawyers instead of doctors It s time we got back our respect risis Eden (c)1994 Crisis Productions The material in this article may not express the feelings of the company that presents it
