intRO:
welp, another month has
come and gone, and again,
stuff happens. since were
already late releasing, were gonna zoom thru
all the news and get this thing out! so i, bedlam, am writing this to save
bob and tweed some time to finish putting the pack together.
n3w meMBerz:
we got some great new artists this month, and were really proud of
the addition of these guys. corpulent cow joins up, i hear he also
joined some group called iCE... i dunno, if he wants to join some no-
name group as well as mOp, more power to him hes an up and coming ansi
artist, and a pretty cool guy to talk to too. next we have that amazing guy
surreal logic, also of that lamers hangout, iCE, and he graces us with his
awesome RIP style that makes my loins quiver with excitement. my old pal aCk!
has decided to start doing ansi exclusively for mOp, after realizing just how
lame ascii really is. hes changing his name to arrogance tho, so thats what
hes listed as in the memberlist. vengeance, a vga guy we picked up
and introduced to the scene, is really an amazing artist and does lots of cool web page graphix, and hes not even influenced by the
lame scene trends, so youll see some real unique stuff from him.
catbones decided that hes gonna keep on giving us stuff, and
join up as a full time member. i believe hes the first to completely
ignore acids no-dualing rule, so were extra happy to have him along
because of that. shivan bastard is gonna be doing some coding for us, such as
our new appgen to replace the lame one we have now but dont fret, itll have
some cool out-of-date once-trendy music included, i promise. parasite has
decided to do our .dizs for us, so we dont have to worry about that
little piece of the pack. cold and ugly, our fourth lame iCE addition
boy, these people must not like iCE if they keep joining mOp
decided to play games with us, the fag. first he joined, started
an ansi, quit, finished the ansi for us anyway, and then we beat
the living hell out of him for his bad decision and forced him to put a mop on
his head, shove a pole up his ass, and become our mascot. the main purpose of
the mascot is to get made fun of, beat up, and generally abused, so feel free to rip on him at every given moment. id like to take this
opportunity to say goodbye to our original mascot, psion, since we
administered a fatal beating to him just after the release of our 4th
pack. we had to take the winter off to console his family, dig up his
grave, and attach various objects to his rotting corpse. rest in peace,
dave. the last of our additions is a phreaking group, phoenix 201.
theyre gonna get us all those cool 800 confs so we can chat.
m3mbER cHAngez:
this month, Number 28 basically decided to quit the scene for the most part.
hell still be drawing every so often, and contributing to the general mayhem
that is mOp. skadistic, our groupie, has shown his artistic skills to us for
the first time, participating in a joint vga with tweed he will still remain
our groupie though, since computer art isnt really his talent. lastly,
scribble has changed his handle to meep, and that change will take effect in
next months memberlist, since all his stuff this month is signed scribble.
meMb3r lOSsez:
we got rid of three members this month halaster, 7 degrees,
and mephistopheles they never drew us anything and although
they were pretty cool and all, we had to let them go. i hear
halasters got some little project called fire or something another little
group trying to be as cool as mOp.
iNTern3t sTUffz:
we got a rad irc bot for mOp, mrsmiley. its main purpose is to accept dccs
that you want to send to us. if you want to send a file to us mOp seniors,
type /msg mrsmiley hello then dcc send the files to it, and well have them
within a day this is the most efficient way to send your apps to us, and
after getting quite a few apps through the web page, we have to say that wed
much prefer you give us an actual app, since we cant see your work if you
use the app on the web page. Ive also started a very successful web page,
Ankh, which grades as many packs as i can find. mOps not directly related to
the project except that i run it, so its not biased towards mOp in any
way.

were especially looking for ansi pic artists, as we dont have very many, and
right now vga is a large proportion of our pack. so if youre good at long
ansis, please apply so that our pack can be more rounded out.

we want to thank unsane, for giving us the mOp logo for our memberlist,
to magnetic m for the font you see at the top of this file,
and astro 3d for setting up mrsmiley for us. greets to
