im glad to be a admittedly small --
part of this 2014 reunion of IMPURE //
ASCII. our first pack release since --,--
the similarly textmode destitute -----------------------,
year of 2006. im glad because, well, IMPURE is easily one
of my all time favorite ASCII groups. sure, others have
personal significance to me as being groups that gave me
a leg up in the scene, or included some of my best friends
and scene heroes, but it was Impure that not only fully
embraced old school ASCII of all styles while every other
pack was 90 new school, but it also included some of my
favorite artists still representing in the late 90s and
beyond and period. IMPURE not only cranked out pack after
quality pack but also championed the ASCII art scene as a whole when it seemed like everyone else was ready to let it
die off. special greets to my man POGUE for dusting off his
his considerable ASCII chops to contribute and XZIP putting
