uh, the above is something that i used to do. lets just move past that.
this is something that sparked from the onslaught of comic book movies
from the past twenty years. the transition of most comic book characters
goes through from page to screen is all about making the costumes practical.
thats why when you saw X-Men all the character had combat-sort of gear on.
the yellow and blue spandex theme they had in the comics would look absolut-
ley absurd in real life. and then i got to thinking about one of my favorite
comic book characters, The Maxx, and what hed look like if it was just
some dude with his body painted like The Maxx.
unbelievably sad. oh, my.
