she stared into my eyes while her lips quivered.
i asked her -
In the morning, when you wake up, what do you see?
and then, it felt like she was no longer looking AT me. it
felt like she was looking THROUGH me.
in a faint whimper she answered -
Darkness. Everywhere.
her whimper gave way to rapid whispers -

her eyes went completly black. and thats when it happened.
thats when she picked up the knife and cut her own throat.
but the real horror had yet to grab hold of me. i turned
away from her lifeless body and closed my eyes to say a
silent prayer. i was interrupted when i heard the most
horrific sound that will haunt me forever.
i heard the sound of her getting up and walking towards me.
