Happy belated New Year,
BLuNTeD ones!! Well, it was late in coming,bu
t here it is! The first BLuNT pack for 1995, and its pretty good
if we dosay so ourselves. Wait a second...
selves?! PLURAL!! YES!! We have added somenew t
alent to our roster since the last pack December. But, we have also lo
sta couple of our other members, but I think were doi
ng rather well now. First,well talk about
those that have left the ranks of the BLuNTeD : ...
First off, The Magi decided to leave BLuNT to join anoth
er smaller group thatwas headed by a friend of his
. In a phone conversation with me, he said that hefe
lt that this other group which he didnt even know the name of wo
uld havemor use for him than BLuNT did. He
originally said that the reason he left wasbe
cause he never received any recognition for anything he did. BULL!
!!! Forany of you out there that have foll
owed BLuNT faithfully would know that the
November 1994 pack the only pack he made stuff for the art secti
on contained
a LOT of stuff from the Magi. Plus he was in the member listings, he
was in theloaders I had made, EVERYTHING. But a
pparently he was just saying that as an
excuse, because he thought we wouldnt see the real reason, a good
enough excusefor leaving BLuNT. But, if he sti
ll feels the same way as the first letter...
Just dont let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split
ya!
And, sadly, Unknown Comic has officially left the ranks. Afte
r being
inactive for over 3 months but his name still on the roster, he
announced thathe was so busy between work and sc
hool, that he didnt have time for computers
period, yet alone working as artist and/or VP for an ANSi art grou
p. So, he
has retired from the ANSi business COMPLETELY. Well miss ya UC.
Your art is
what kept BLuNT alive when you were with us. Thanks pal..
But, on a happier note, lets check out our new talent : ..
Our first new artist is a newcomer to the computer scene altog
ether.
He is our new VGA artist, SPyDeR. Hes the one that did that cool
Spiderman
.GIF. Hes no Cat, but before ya go criticizing him, remember, th
e only thing
he has to work on is his girlfriends Black and White notebook com
puter, and
hes drawing with Windows PAINTBRUSH!!! Thats pretty damn impres
sive, Ill
say.
Our next artist is an ANSi artist whos been working with more
groups
than we can keep track of. His name is Omot. I originally met hi
m through the
Internet, and he said that he would do an ANSi for Antons Cornerm
and he even
put a BLuNT logo on it! He said he would be willing to work some
with BLuNT in
the coming months. So, we welcome Omot with open arms
Our last 2 artists were originally in CHaoS, they are Hawk, an
d Night
Stalker. They are both ASCii/ANSi artists, and good at that! The
ir art has
comprised most of the art in the pack. Theyve done everything fr
om BLuNT
logos, to ads for Antons Corner, to ads for other groups. We GLA
DLY welcome
them into the ranks of the BLuNTeD.
As far as new additions to the group go, thats it..but, there
is more
thats happened with BLuNT since our last sighting. The Conquista
dor has been
polishing up on his ANSi art skills, and has become pretty good, a
nd I have beenworking on a couple of things here
and there as well. BLuNT WHQ should be
going up soon, and the Conquistador will be the SysOp, and the boa
rd name will
be Shelobs Lair. So, keep on the lookout for it. And, lastly, B
LuNTViEW has
went through some MAJOR changes. I cant even begin to list the n
ew features init, so Ill let you go ahead and c
heck it out for yourself. But, The
Conquistador who is now functioning as VP, as well a Senior Coder
is asking
any of you cool TP coders out there you know who you are for inf
ormation on
how to do Bezier Curves the is the last thing we need for .RIP su
pport, and
how to do really smooth text mode scrolling the routines were us
ing now arentall that great. If youre a code
