as you open your eyes
and stare at clound
above green sky
fuckin yellow jesus
my mind can wander
and fly underwater
with dreams of beasts and
an efreet of proportion
with destruction impending
on its face
fuck this
lets dream something else
but now the efreet is alive
a living fossil of a motherfucking strip
laughing...fall back asleep
now you awake
the trip is over, the world burned
bodies scorched beyond recognition
in their cars, broken
shattered, contorted
leather interiors molded
to cracked bones like bodysuits
tormented screams in acid confusion
what is real?
what is a dream?
and what the fuck is that?
the efreet
conceived by my trip,
it consumes the street
one .. clean .. sweep
down the middle of the freeway
and takes you too
