Circles and Ro
unded Edges 1O1
by Logan
Now one thing Shihear has been trying to drill in your heads
besides Dont let colors touch
is Rounded Edges. Ill admit even I had
trouble with this for a long time. Its important to
know how to make
objects look round in ANSi. It improves the quality o
f your picture immensely.
Having a good sense of roundness differentiates between a be
ginner and a
veteran ANSi artist.
Circles
One important thing to remember when constucting an ANSi
circle is
that a circle is just a box with either its edges cut off or rounded
down.
Ive done enough circles to know how to make one automatical
ly, but a beginner
will have to start off with the basics.
Step 1 Construct a Box
Simply using the F4 button .
Step 2 Round off the Edges
Use only your F5 and F6 buttons
Step 3 Narrow in sides
Use the F7 and F8 buttons
Step 4 Add a small Top and Bottom
Use the F5 and F6 buttons

n actual circle just
shorten the length of the entire thing
Rounded Edges
Now, if you can make a circle,
youll have no problems with rounding
edges. Basically, all well be doing

Just follow the first three steps You wont
be adding a top.
