Amazingly enough, central Pennsylvania in the 1990s had a vibrant,
thriving punk rock and hardcore scene. Scranton and Wilkes-Barre were
strongholds of the militant straight edge crowd, and there were punk
hardcore shows nearby almost every weekend. Most were in rented fire
halls, but a few clubs like The Chameleon Club in Lancaster brought in
bigger bands on a regular basis.
One such show saw a band from my high school, Hate Potion, opening up
for The Bouncing Souls. Craziness. We didnt know it at the time, but
both Filth and I were at this show. We hadnt met at this point, though
we very likely crashed into each other throughout the night, or at least
pissed in the same urinal. Punk rock. ANSI by Misfit AMiSH
